OUR SERVICES

The Paw Shed is built to offer bespoke services to each and every client, regardless of your dog’s breed, age or mannerisms. Every appointment is one-on-one, and will be tailored specifically to meet individual needs. This is why we like to allow for extra time, to ensure we can ease your dog into our environment, take regular breaks when required and do everything we can to keep them calm, relaxed and happy. We even have extra space for those who need a quieter atmosphere with less distractions.

Full Groom

  • Our core service, suitable for any dog that requires significant clipping or scissor work.

    We begin with a deep-bathing session in our hypoallergenic, organic shampoos, followed by a blow-dry, brush-out and 'pawdicure' (nails clipped and paw pads shaved). We then continue with a haircut or your desire, which you can talk to us about in depth when you drop off your doggy.

    We typically allow around 2-hrs for this service, depending on breed, behaviour and coat condition.

    Suitable for: Most breeds, from a Spaniel wanting a clip, to a Cockapoo, a Golden Retriever to a Chow Chow, St Bernard or German Shepherd.

  • Most small/medium poodle-mixes are £55 for their Full Groom

    Golden Retrievers & 15kg+ Labradoodles are £65+

Lite Groom

  • This service is suitable for small/medium dogs that just need a tidy up, or dogs with short hair that require de-shedding.

    In an hour, we provide a deep-bathing session in our hypoallergenic, organic shampoos, followed by a blow-dry, brush-out and 'pawdicure' (nails clipped and paw pads shaved).

    We then do a de-shedding session with our specialist tools, OR up to 10-minutes of scissor-work to tidy.

    Suitable for: Jack Russells, Pugs, Labradors, Boxers, Frenchies, short-haired Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, Bulldogs and similar breeds.

    This is also a great service for your small/medium Poodle-mix, in between their Full Groom! We will bathe them, fluff them out, de-tangle them and cut their nails.

Handstrip

  • Hand Stripping is required for a special few breeds, mostly Terriers, due to their differing coat/fur. This service does what it says on the tin, so it can take a little time and considerable skill.

    Your dog will receive the same luxury treatment as a Full Groom, with the only difference being the equipment and methods used for hair removal.

    For best results, your dog's coat must have never been clipped, must be untangled, and essentially it must be 'blown' (hormonally ready for the hair to be pulled). We will always lead by your dog's response, and we will never push them past their limits. If we believe that they are in discomfort, we will pause, and possibly resume on another occassion.

    Suitable for: Airedales, Border Terriers, Irish Terriers, Scottish Terriers, some Spaniels, etc.

    This service does what it says on the tin, and requires a lot of skill, so it can take a little time.

    Your dog will receive the same luxury treatment as a Full Groom, with the only difference being the equipment and methods used for hair removal.

    Your dog’s coat must be mat-free and ‘blown’ (hormonally ready for hair removal) in order to get best results.

    Suitable for unclipped: Border Terriers, Scottish Terriers, Patterdale Terriers, Airedales, some Spaniels.

Puppy Pamper

  • This is a crucial, loving service for puppies under 8 months old.

    During this time we begin to de-sensitise your dog to the equipment and environment so that they become comfortable with the process. We will move at your dog's pace, but typically includes a bath, blow-dry, trimming under eyes, paws, sanitary, nails and de-sensitisation.

    Most Puppy Pampers are £35, but if your pup exceeds 15kg, we may charge a little more.

    If your dog hasn’t been groomed before, but is over 8-months’ of age, we recommend a Salon Intro appointment, followed by a Full Groom or a Lite Groom.

Wash & Wait

  • Just been to Reigate Park and found your dog in a muddy puddle? Wash & Wait is designed for any dog who just needs a quick bath so you don't have to get your home all messy. This service is both quick and easy and only takes 10/15 minutes! Your dog will be washed in our custom-made bath with our specially selected organic shampoos before being towel dried.

Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning

  • Using the latest technology, our award-winning ultrasound teeth cleaning service removes tartar and prophylaxis on the tooth and deep into the gum, relieving your pup from discomfort in a stress-free manner. The service is noise, pain and vibration-free and takes just 30 minutes.

    The initial session is £35, and subsequent appointments within 3-month intervals are £25.
